Abstract: Based on the analysis of the AE experiment, which monitored the LY12CZ duralumin sample’s three-point-bending fracture process, the paper probed into the application of acoustic emission technique to studying the metal component damage. Signal acquisition system is presented and common denoise methods of hardware system are supplied. The experiment is conducted in two cases, one with constant load and another with constant loading rate. Experiment results of acoustic emission monitoring of different cases are analyzed.
