IDIADA参与“道路安全旗舰计划” 开发自动驾驶车辆主被动安全系统

道路安全旗舰计划 

日前,欧盟资助的SAFE-UP H2020项目即“道路安全旗舰计划”正在进行。团队人员通过整合交通事故数据和未来可能的交通状况,应用Aimsun交通模拟平台的新的安全指标和亚微观模型(微观模型拓展子结构),正对高度自动化和混合交通环境中的关键性安全场景进行积极设计和分析,以开发出能够保护所有道路使用者的主动安全和被动安全系统。

The EU-funded SAFE-UP H2020 project is proactively designing and analyzing safety-critical scenarios in highly automated and mixed-traffic environments and developing active safety and passive safety systems to protect all road users. It is doing so by integrating traffic accident data and future traffic conditions, altogether with new forms of safety metrics and sub-microscopic models in Aimsun’s traffic simulation platform.

 

为了验证新开发概念的应用潜能,SAFE-UP项目中使用了城市用例和非城区用例来进行虚拟和实际环境测试。项目旨在通过对未来道路上涉及安全的关键性场景进行识别,以更好应对未来道路安全挑战,同时也在积极探索新工具和新技术,以降低安全挑战带来的各种风险。

To validate the potential of these concepts, SAFE-UP will test them virtually and physically in an urban and non-urban use cases. The project aims at addressing upcoming road safety challenges by identifying future safety-critical scenarios and find new tools and technologies to mitigate them.

IDIADA开发了一款自动驾驶车辆模型,该模型已在交通模拟平台上运行,能够对假定情形中在未来混合交通环境中可能发生的涉及安全的关键性场景进行评估,这些场景涉及行人、电动两轮车和真人驾驶员。

First, IDIADA has developed an autonomous vehicle (AV) model, which has been in the traffic simulation platform to assess hypothetical future safety-critical situations occurring within mixed-traffic environments involving pedestrians, electric-powered two-wheelers, and human drivers.

IDIADA还开发了专门适用于脆弱道路使用者(VRU)智能设备的应用程序,可提供实时安全警告。预计将在今年夏天对程序演示版No.3和No.4进行最终评估。

Second, we are also developing an application specific for vulnerable road users’ (VRUs) smart devices, which will be able to deliver real-time safety warnings. The final assessment of demos 3 and 4 is expected to take place at IDIADA this summer.

Third, we will carry out sled tests to assess new seating positions and a new adaptive restraint system for level 4 of AV.
