PLC和变频器在工业生产中都具有极其广泛的应用。本文介绍了西门子公司新一代MicroMaster4 系列变频器的突出特点，具体讨论了S7—212 PLC 和MM440 变频器在陶瓷生产中应用的工作原理、控制方式和运行效果，阐述了在实际应用设计中应注意的问题。

Abstract Both PLC and the inverters have a wide range of application in the industrial production. This paper introduces the prominent features of the new inverters of Siemens. The working principle, control mode and performance of application of S7-212 PLC and inverters in the ceramic producing process are discussed , and some problems that should be paid attention to in practical application are also expounded in this paper.
