Abstract : The measurement of molten aluminum electrical resistivity is based on the eddy current principles. In the system the structure and calibrating method of the transducer is properly designed. In order to simplify the hardware circuit ,the AD5982LVDT special chip is adopted in the signal processing circuit . By rational combine of software and hardware the temperature effect is effectively eliminated. This system has been applied to the freezing study of molten aluminum and aluminum alloy.
