Abstract :The property of silicon sensor with SiO2 as auxiliary electrode was studied. The results show that the stable electro2potential can beobtained in 10~20 seconds after the sensor is dipped into hot metal ,and sustained for 30~60 seconds ,it can be used to analyze the silicon inBF hot metal. Its prospects for utilization are also discussed.
