Ultra-Low Power, Single-Channel Integrated Biopotential (ECG, R to R Detection) AFE he MAX30003 is a complete, biopotential, analog frontendsolution for wearable applications. It offers highperformance for clinical and fitness applications, withultra-low power for long battery life. The MAX30003 is asingle biopotential channel providing ECG waveforms andheart rate detection.
The biopotential channel has ESD protection, EMI filtering,internal lead biasing, DC leads-off detection, ultra-lowpower leads-on detection during standby mode, and extensivecalibration voltages for built-in self-test. Soft power-upsequencing ensures no large transients are injected intothe electrodes. The biopotential channel also has highinput impedance, low noise, high CMRR, programmablegain, various low-pass and high-pass filter options, anda high resolution analog-to-digital converter. Thebiopotential channel is DC coupled, can handle largeelectrode voltage offsets, and has a fast recovery modeto quickly recover from overdrive conditions, such asdefibrillation and electrosurgery.
