测试点可以方便工程师对各个电压轨和输出信号进行测量和监测。
评估板有两种供电方式:通过J3连接9V电源或通过J1连接台式电源。使用9V电源时,需将S2置于9V位置;使用台式电源时,将S2调整到VCC位置。
ADM1184监测四个独立的电压轨,VIN1、VIN2、VIN3和VIN4引脚外部的电阻网络设置了被监测电压轨(3.3V、2.5V、1.8V和1.5V)的触发点。输出OUT1到OUT3仅取决于其关联的输入。当VINx输入电压达到0.6V时,经过30μs延迟后,相应的OUTx输出被置位。当所有四个被监测电源超过其编程阈值时,系统电源正常信号(PWRGD)被置位,该输出有190ms的内部延迟。如果任何一个被监测电源低于其编程阈值,相应的OUTx输出和PWRGD输出将被复位。
将四个旋转开关完全逆时针旋转,然后通过切换相关的专用开关S1到S4将四个电压轨上电,上电顺序可以任意。黄色LED(D2、D3、D4和D5)显示四个电压轨的状态,绿色LED(D6、D7、D8和D9)显示OUT1到OUT3输出和系统PWRGD信号的置位情况。可以很容易观察到电源正常信号置位的190ms延迟。
通过四个旋转开关VR1到VR4可以模拟故障条件。顺时针旋转旋转开关会降低关联的输入电压。当VINx输入引脚的电压低于0.6V时,OUTx输出接地,PWRGD输出也立即复位。
