如何安全而有效地对数据库信息进行加密保护是目前迫切需要解决的课题。本文提出
一种基于DBMS扩展的数据库加密系统，系统通过对DBMS进行扩展实现加解密功能，并向用户提供可选择的字段加密。系统透明性好，并且较好地解决了不同用户对数据加密的不同要求，具有一定的实际意义。

Design and Implementation of Database Encryption System Based on DBMS Expanding WANG Xinchang，WANG Yongwei （Institute of Electronic Technology, People’s Liberation Army Information Engineering University, Zhengzhou 450004, China） Abstract：How to encrypt and protect information in database safely and effectively has become a problem we must settle exactly．A database encryption system based on DBMS expanding is put forwarded in this paper, which implements the encryption and decryption function through DBMS expanding and provides optional fields encrypting for users. This system has good transparence and meets different user's data encrypting needs.
