本文主要讨论了32 位FPU(Floating Point Unit)中的控制模块的设计与实现,在设 计中控制部分采用了微程序的设计思想,介绍了微程序控制设计的基本构成电路和工作特点,在设计中采用了诸如:多入口地址等提高微程序控制能力的方法。为了提高电路的性能,使用了门级设计。通过布局布线后的结果看出,该设计规模小、速度高,非常适合嵌入式应用。 关键词:FPU 设计;微程序控制;IP 设计
Abstrat: This paper mainly discusses the design and implementation of controlling module in 32 bit embedded FPU, and introduces the architecture of controller and feature of the current. The design is implemented by micro program method. In the design, there are many techniques used such as: multi-address entrance. In order to improving the performance of it, the design is implemented by gate level. Finally, it is shown that the controller of the FPU is much suitable for embedded application due to its small area and hign speed from its layout.
