Access control is a primary component of distributed systems. Since building an access control system needs the developers having plenty of professional access control knowledge, establishing an access control mechanism becomes a problem. This paper introduces a component-based access control developing tool which supports the fast development of an access control system. The tool adopts component-oriented software development method, which supports dynamic policy definition, component library management and component configuration-integration, and can build access control system with several policies rapidly, and make it more convenient on rapid development and deployment for the access control system.
