基于Canny 法的红外小目标边缘检测方法

从红外图像的特点出发,基于Canny算法进行了目标边缘检测。首先,对源图像进行小波分解和重构,对图像进行消噪,抑制噪声对目标提取的影响。然后对消噪后的图像用Canny算法进行边缘检测。这种边缘检测方法利用了小波消噪的优点,在抑制背景噪声的同时保留了目标边缘细节。实验结果表明,这种结合方法优于单独使用Canny算法。

Infrared target edge detection algorithm based on Canny algorithm Lian Jie, Han Chuanjiu, Pan Lu (Dept. of Communication and Information Engineering, Guilin Univ. of Electronic Technology, Guilin 541004) Abstract: According to the feature of infrared image, an improved Canny algorithm is proposed. The source image is decomposed and composed by wavelet, which could suppress the noise effect to targets. Then the denoised image is derived. And the edges of this image are detected using Canny operator. This edge detection method combines the advantages of both wavelet transform and Canny methods together, thus suppressing effectively the noises with the consecutive and clear edges kept up experimental results showed that the approach is superior to Canny method used alone.
