The mPD753204, 753206, and 753208 is a 4-bit single-chip microcontroller of the 75XL series that features a data processing ability equivalent to that of 8-bit microcontrollers.
The mPD753208 adopts a 48-pin package (375 mil, 0.65-mm pitch) suitable for small scale system, while the existing 75X series product with LCD controller/driver adopts an 80-pin package. In addition, CPU extension and high-speed operation at 1.8-V low voltage are realized, compared to the existing mPD75308B.

• Low-voltage operation: VDD = 1.8 to 5.5 V
· Can be driven by two 1.5-V batteries
• Internal memory
· Program memory (ROM) : mPD753204 : 4096 x 8 bits
mPD753206 : 6144 x 8 bits
mPD753208 : 8192 x 8 bits
· Data memory (RAM) : 512 x 4 bits
• Variable instruction execution time function suitable for high-speed operation and power saving.
· 0.95 ms/1.91 ms/3.81 ms/15.3 ms (system clock; at fX = 4.19 MHz)
· 0.67 ms/1.33 ms/2.67 ms/10.7 ms (system clock; at fX = 6.0 MHz)
• Programmable internal LCD controller/driver
• Small package: 48-pin plastic shrink SOP (375 mil, 0.65-mm pitch)
• One-time PROM version available: mPD75P3216Note
The mPD753208 adopts a 48-pin package (375 mil, 0.65-mm pitch) suitable for small scale system, while the existing 75X series product with LCD controller/driver adopts an 80-pin package.
