The halfwave antennas require no ground plane for
operation. This makes the antennas ideal for use with
products with no metal ground plane. They can even be
used with products containing all plastic cases. The 2.5dB
gain antenna also compensates for typical system losses
that occur at these frequencies.
Connectors available include male TNC or SMA. Right
angle connector models are available for side mounting
applications. The ELPSTN and ELPSWN series use a
flexible PVC cover and the ELHSTN series uses a flexible
Santoprene radome. The new Knuckle ELPSKN series
allows adjustment between right angle and straight.
The quarterwave model ELPSTG0-2400HS antenna for
2.4GHz provides enhanced performance with the
minimum of size. It uses a hard ABS radome and is
coloured in black with a textured finish. The antenna is
fitted with a male SMA. This antenna's performance is
ground plane dependant, for best performance it should
be mounted on a metal box orPCboard.
