光纤测温系统是一种利用光在光纤中传播的某种特性,实现实时测量空间温度场分布的新技术,对光纤沿线场所的温度进行分布式连续检测,光纤本身就是温度传感器。该技
术特别适用于电气设备的温度检测,并能和消防报警系统配合使用,对电力系统一次带电设备进行在线温度检测,它将给变电站的“五遥”监控系统充实新的内容,在发电厂、变电站中有广阔的应用前景。

【Abstract】 Optical fiber temperature sensor system is a newly developed technique for the mea2surement of spatial temperature dist ribution. It can be used to monitor temperature along an opti2 cal fiber of some kilometers. The optical fiber it self is both the sensing element s and the signal t ransmission medium. Because of it s int rinsic advantages , this technique is especially suitable for the temperature monitoring of elect rical power facilities. When combined with other fire protec2 tion techniques , dist ributed optical fiber temperature sensor system will be widely used in the state monitoring of elect rical facilities in elect rical power plant , substations and so forth.
