Abstract: A user interface board implementation in VoIP router based on DSP is presented in
this paper. This board includes some functions, such as audio processing, voice CODEC, echo canceller, signaling generating and detecting and etc. Its core is TMS320VC5402 in charge of voice CODEC, which has fulfilled all functions of ITU-T G.723.1 and the echo canceller function. Some details of hardware design and processing procedure are discussed in this paper.
