Introduction
The build-out of optical networks started in the late 1990s in North America and Europe.
Today, the majority of optical network infrastructure build-out is happening in India,
China and the APAC nations where customers are also demanding GSM/3G, WiMAX,
PON, Gigabit Ethernet & IP-WAN services.
