The MAX16833/MAX16833B/MAX16833C/MAX16833D/MAX16833E are peak current-mode-controlled LED driversfor boost, buck-boost, SEPIC, flyback, and high-sidebuck topologies. A dimming driver designed to drivean external p-channel in series with the LED string provideswide-range dimming control. This feature providesextremely fast PWM current switching to the LEDs withno transient overvoltage or undervoltage conditions. Inaddition to PWM dimming, the ICs provide analog dimmingusing a DC input at ICTRL. The ICs sense the LEDcurrent at the high side of the LED string.
