Surveillant Image Compression Based on Integral Wavelet Transformation and Zerotree Coding Hao Xiaofeng Sun Dehui (State Key Laboratory for Field Bus Technology and Automation ,North China University of Technology , Beijing 100041) Abstract: In recent years, image wavelet and coding become the focus in image compression field. This paper discusses applying image wavelet and coding to the surveillant image that is usually simple, and doing experiment in the PC and DSPs conditions, and gets better compression result than JPEG standard.
