Abstract：This article discusses the design of a video server system based on VW2010. The
VW2010 uses multiple algorithms to buffer and compress raw video data into streams. The output video stream can be MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, MJPEG or H.263 format. This
paper will introduce the system structure, hardware design and software design of a MPEG-4 video server based on VW2010 and AU1550.
