充分利用产品数据管理(PDM ) 技术的思想, 以汽车产品设计为例, 在建立零部件图形库、底盘参数数据库的基础上, 通过VB 与A utoCAD2000 软件进行二次开发, 集绘图设计、数据管理于一体, 在一定程度上实现了汽车底盘的虚拟设计, 可以快速高效地进行汽车设计和资料的查询等, 从而减轻设计人员的劳动强度, 提高设计效率。
