Description: IBIS Schematic Library Part Generator: IBIS is a standard for behavioral models of integrated circuit input/output analog characteristics. Many IC vendors provide IBIS models for ICs, especially for those operating at high speeds (50 MHz or greater). The models are used for signal integrity simulation. The IBIS model files also contain sufficient information to generate schematic symbols. The IBIS utility allows a user to take a file with the extension .ibs and produce a BUILD utility input file (.LIB) that can be used to produce a PCB123 Schematic symbol. This utility is very useful for generating symbols for parts that have a large pin out, for example DSPs, microprocessors, and communication chips.
