Interrupt handling mechanism under VxW orks is of
high performance in reducing interrupt latency and programming
in application， MPC860 is a versatile one—chip integrated mi—
croprocessor which particularly excels in both communications
and networking systems． In this paper， the interrupt handling
mechanisms of both VxW orks and M PC860 are analyzed in de—
tail．Then，the process of interrupt handling programming is de—
scribed．At last，an example in application is provided．
