This article presents a design example for interfacing
a Micron 8Mb boot block flash device with a Motorola
16-bit MCU. In this exercise, a Motorola M68HC16Z1
MCU is used with a MT28F800B5xx-10B flash device.
While the basic signal interconnect is shown, some
options remain for the designer to complete based upon
system resource requirements.
