Abstract: By means of test bed designed previously, several practical experiments are carried out to study IEEE 802.1P for real-time behavior of switched industrial Ethernet. Compare the
experimental results with theoretical analysis, find their deficiency and perfect them. The
experiments have shown the potential problems due to interference between priority levels. The experiments would direct the theoretical analysis and practical improvement in industrial Ethernet for process control
