ZigBee2006_DK_BAT provided by California Eastern Laboratories is an example of how to set up the software to configure a ZigBee ZIC2410 for a Battery-Powered Device application. When the device in this application is successfully joined, it goes to the Power-Down mode. It requests data transmission to its parent by waking up in Power-Down mode periodically (Polling). If parent has the data to transmit, it is pending data for 5 seconds and it sends the data when device requests data transmission (It is called as indirect-transmission).
