Abstract—This is a short presentation of our DSP project developed in summer semester 2003 and winter semester 2003/2004. We designed and built a quadrotor helicopter, which gets its flight commands from a base station. The flight control and flight stabilization is done by the digi- tal signal processor TMS320F2812 from Texas Instruments, which gets all the data needed for feedback-control from sev- eral sensors connected to the developer board eZdsp F2812 from Spectrum Digital. The sensors we use are acceleration sensors, gyroscopes, infrared and sonar distance sensors and a magnetic field sensor. A detailed report is available in German language. It also contains schematics, board layouts, more mathematical explanations and links to other important documents.
