The MAXQ614 is a low-power, 16-bit MAXQ® microcontrollerdesigned for low-power applications includinguniversal remote controls, consumer electronics, andwhite goods. The device combines a powerful 16-bitRISC microcontroller and integrated peripherals includingtwo universal synchronous/asynchronous receivertransmitters(USARTs) along with an IR module with carrierfrequency generation and flexible port I/O capable ofmultiplexed keypad control.
