Saving power is an important probIem in portabIe device。This paper presents a SOC（System on a Chip）system for radio freguency identification（RFID）reader to simpIify the compIex traditionaI circuits 。 It puts the peripheraI
circuits into SOCand uses software to execute the decoding，checking，identifying and reaI-time caIcuIating and dispIaying of digitaI signaIs。The proposed system has advantages such as simpIe structure，Iow cost，and Iow power consumption。
