The G1448 is an audio power amplifier that can continuously
deliver 1 Watt average power to 8Ω speakers
with less than 1% distortion (THD+N) at 5V power
supply. Using BTL driving architecture, this audio amplifier
can directly drive the speaker load without the
large output coupling capacitor. The supply voltage
can be as low as 3V, so it is very suitable for mobile
phone and other portable electronic devices applications.
The G1448 can be unity-gain stable. By changing external
RF/RIN resistor ratio, the customers can set the
amplifier gain easily. The depopping circuitry is embedded
to suppress the power-on or power-off transition
noises. Thermal protection circuitry is implemented
to avoid unintentionally damaging.
To save the power consumption, the G1448 can be
deactivated by pulling the shutdown pin low.
