MAX32600微控制器基于行业标准ARM® Cortex®-M3 32位RISC CPU，工作在高达24MHz。器件包括256KB闪存、32KB SRAM、2KB指令缓存，以及集成的高性能模拟外设。
MAX32600采用以下封装：192焊球、12mm x 12mm CTBGA；120焊球、7mm x 7mm CTBGA；108焊球、5.4mm x 4.3mm WLP。
除Maxim提供的免费工具之外，MAX32600也支持IAR的Embedded Workbench。IAR Embedded Workbench®将编译器、汇编器、链接器和调试器集成在一个IDE中，简单易用，提供高级和高效率优化功能，与硬件、RTOS产品以及中间件高度集成。IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM有多个版本，包括专门针对ARM Cortex-M核心家族设计的产品工具包。
