The GR6004 is a high efficiency constant current driver for high brightness LED. The 0.2V reference voltage minimized the power dissipation of the LED current set resistor that located between FB to GND. This low reference voltage increases the efficiency apparently with the one LED load condition. Beside, a 100m integrated power PMOSFET only dissipated a little power in the conduction period. In order to meet the mini size applications, the small
size inductor and output capacitor usually used under the 750KHz operating. There are over
temperature protection (OTP) and over current protection (OCP) in the GR6004. These two
protections could prevent the GR6004 damage in the abnormal situations.
