The AAT3258 combines a high performance, lownoise, 300mA low dropout (LDO) linear regulatorwith a microprocessor reset monitor. The 300mAoutput capability of the LDO regulator makes thisdevice ideal for use with microprocessors and DSPcores in portable products. The microprocessorreset monitor section has very low quiescent currentconsumption and has an active low reset output.The AAT3258 has separate input pins for thereset monitor and LDO regulator so they may beoperated from independent sources for increaseddesign flexibility. This device features very low quiescentcurrent, typically less than 71μA.
