The MAX9599A provides multiple programmable referencevoltages for gamma correction in TFT LCDs. Eachgamma output comprises a 10-bit digital-to-analog converter(DAC) and high current buffer, which reduces therecovery time of the output voltages when critical levelsand patterns are displayed. A precision-programmableinternal reference sets the full-scale voltage of the DACs.The gamma output voltages and the programmablereference, programmed digitally through the 1MHz (fastmode plus) I2C interface.
