Abstract: According to the characteristics of remote distribution,volatile variation and diversity for agricultural objects, a system design scheme of the remote monitoring system for agricultural environment information was presented, and the scheme design and implementation were introduced in detail for both hardware and software. The results showed, by adopting the kernel part of μC/OS-II, seamless linkage could be realized between bottom network for data acquisition and top part for information publishing, and it provided not only a solid foundation for establishing a web based remote monitoring system of agricultural environment, but a flexible solution to solve the bottle-neck problem so-called “final one kilometer” phenomenon in web based application of agricultural information communication.
