Introduction
Sometimes a user’s real test requirement relies on the successful
emulation of a packet-switched data connection to deliver the
highest throughput possible to a mobile device or application.
When that connection does not work as expected, it makes
testing all but impossible. This application note is meant to
provide a framework for troubleshooting call processing
connections from Radio Bearer (RB) test mode through Packet-
Switched (PS) data connections. This article assumes the user
has set up their 8960 based test system as described in FTP
application note. (Please refer to
http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/5989-9598EN).
This application note applies to the E6703E/U W-CDMA/HSPA
lab applications with the latest 8960 (E5515C) hardware upgrades
available.
