Abstract:
 The key features of the power energy measurement integrated circuit AS8228 produced by Austria Microsystems, and its internal configuration and function are presented，such as one or two current input energy measurement front end，liquid crystal display driver，4-line serial peripheral interface，real-time clock and system control unit.The typical application circuit in the design of single-phase electronic energy meter is also given．
