Abstract:
 The paper introduces briefly the IGBT structure,the characteristic and its application in the railroad power supply system,discusses with emphasis on application and the protection of IGBT module in the passenger train car DC600V power supply system.IGBT module has low-loss,easy to package,switch conversion,et al.Application result shows that IGBT has over-voltage,under-voltage protection,over-current,overload,over-heat protection function.It can ensures operation of safe and reliable in the DC600V feed system.
