UMB系统链路级仿真性能分析

超移动宽带UMB(Ultra Mobile Broadband)系统是以OFDMA技术为基础,专门针对无线移动环境和实时应用优化的第4代无线技术。通过分析UMB系统链路级的部分物理层技术,使用MATLAB搭建仿真平台,评估UMB系统链路级的性能。仿真结果表明:在一般条件下,信噪比为6dB就可将误包率降至10 -3 以下;而使用Turbo码时,只需约2.5dB即可实现。而低信噪比下其误包率仍远高于现有技术,并证实UMB系统高数据速率的高可靠性,UMB系统在链路级性能上远远领先于第3代通信技术。
Abstract:
 The ultra mobile broadband(UMB)system is a kind of OFDMA-based fourth-generation wireless technology,which is specifically for wireless mobile environments and optimization of real-time applications.Through analysing some physical layer technologies in UMB system link level,a simulation platform by MATLAB is built,and then research the performance of UMB link level is evaulated.The simulation result shows that in terms of ordinary conditions,the PER reduces below10-3 only in6dB;on conditions of using Turbo codes,it is only about2.5dB that the PER reduces below10 -3 .But the PER is still much higher than that of existing technologies in low SNR.The high reliability of UMB system' s high data rate is also confirmed,the link level performance of UMB system is far ahead of the third-generation communication technologies.
