The MC13201 is a short range, low power, 2.4 GHzIndustrial, Scientific, and Medical (ISM) bandtransceivers. The MC13201 contains a complete packetdata modem which is compliant with the IEEE®802.15.4 Standard PHY (Physical) layer. This allows thedevelopment of proprietary point-to-point and starnetworks based on the 802.15.4 packet structure andmodulation format. For full 802.15.4 Standardcompliance, the MC13202/203 and Freescale's 802.15.4MAC software are required.
