The MAX16841 is an LED driver for AC line (100V, 120V,220V, and 230V AC) input lamps. It features proprietarycontrol of the input current that allows lamps to dimsmoothly from full to zero light intensity, while providingactive power factor correction (PFC). It is a very flexibleproduct that can be used in isolated (e.g., flyback) andnonisolated (e.g., buck) configurations. The conventionaluse of an optocoupler in isolated configurations can beavoided in MAX16841-based designs.
