Research on a Web Metadata Extraction Method YU Zhi-min, XIE Li-cong, HAN Xiao-yun (College Of Mathematics and Computer Science, Fuzhou University, Fuzhou Fujian China 350002) Abstract： The metadata extraction of Web is an important information acquiring technique. After a brief introduction of the conception of metadata, a metadata extraction method is given in this paper. The scheme of this method and some details, including the operation steps and rules, are demonstrated. The effectiveness of this method was proved in experiment.
