基于LBP算子与EMD距离的医学图像检索

基于LBP 算子的医学图像检索方法是目前一个研究热点，但是目前大多数算法采用的
是卡方距离计算相似度，针对卡方距离的缺点，本文提出了一种基于LBP 算子与EMD 距离的医学图像检索的方法。实验证明，与卡方距离相比，EMD 距离具有较高的检准率和检全率。

Abstract: Nowadays the medical image retrieval approach based on Local Binary
Pattern operators is a hot topic. But most of the approaches are using chi-square
distance, which has inevitable disadvantages. In this paper, a novel medical image
retrieval approach based on Local Binary Pattern and Earth Movers’ Distance is
proposed. The experimental results show that the precision and recall of retrieval
are higher compared with chi-square distance.
