These application notes describe the implementation of a USB hub using
Philips Semiconductors PDIUSBH11A (H11A). The H11A is pincompatible
to the PDIUSBH11 (H11) and the firmware is backward
compatible. It provides the full USB Hub functionality and includes many
improvements over the H11, such as:
A 12 MHz crystal
Enhanced supply ripple and EMI suppression
Lazyclockä technology
SOFTCONNECTä technology
Enhanced functionalities such as GoodLinkä
3 embedded ports
