一种基于H.264/AVC 的快速运动估计算法

提出了一种基于运动特性的自适应快速运动估计算法。该算法充分利用视频图像序列的运动特征进行运动模式判定，实现了一种简单高效的搜索方法，并且根据不同的运动模式动态改变搜索策略。实验表明，新算法在保证重构图像质量的前提下，编码速度有了显著的提高，更适合于实时应用。

Abstract: In this paper , a novel adaptive motion estimation algorithm based on the character of motion for H.264/AVC coding standard is proposed . This algorithm makes use of the characters of motion, then employs different patterns, so it significantly reduces the search complexity of motion estimation . Experimental results show this algorithm achieves much speedup with negligible PSNR drop and bit-rate increase .
