The nondest ructive testing technique used by leakage monitoring and testing of
buried pipeline wasreviewed. The principle , scope , advantages and disadvantages of the
methods were discussed. The leakagemonitoring methods of buried pipeline included in flux
equity , negative pressure wave , sound wave , real2time model(RTM) , supervisory cont rol and data acquisition ( SCADA) , laser optical fibre and cable testing methods. Theleakage testing methods of buried pipeline included in sound wave , inf rared imaging , laser scanning and flammablegas testing methods.
