The DS3232M is a low-cost, extremely accurate, I2Creal-time clock (RTC) with 236 bytes of battery-backedSRAM. The device incorporates a battery input andmaintains accurate timekeeping when main power to thedevice is interrupted. The integration of the microelectromechanicalsystems (MEMS) resonator enhances thelong-term accuracy of the device and reduces the piecepartcount in a manufacturing line.
