This application note describes the behavior of the RDY
(Ready) pin in several modes of operation: Encoded, Bypass,
and BIST (Built-In Self-Test). The RDY pin indicates the status
of the HOTLinkä Receiver control logic and output pins. Its
function and timing are dependent on the state of the MODE,
BISTEN (Built-In Self-Test Enable), and RF (Reframe) pins.
The following sections describe RDY behavior in detail.
