The MAX14591 is a dual-channel, bidirectional logicleveltranslator with the level shifting necessary to allowdata transfer in a multivoltage system. Externally appliedvoltages, VCC and VL, set the logic levels on either sideof the device. A logic signal present on the VL side of thedevice appears as the same logic signal on the VCC sideof the device, and vice-versa.
