The MAX8532 offers the benefits of low-dropout voltageand ultra-low power regulation in a subminiaturizedUCSP, making it ideal for space-restricted portableequipment. The device operates from a 2.5V to 6.5Vinput and delivers up to 200mA, with low dropout of100mV (typ) at 100mA. Designed with an internalP-channel MOSFET pass transistor, the supply currentis kept at a low 80μA, independent of the load currentand dropout voltage. Other features include short-circuitprotection and thermal-shutdown protection.
