This document describes the 78M66xx graphical user interface (GUI), a software tool that allows managing and controlling of the Teridian™ energy measurement devices. It is defined as the Host. The GUI interacts with, or controls, the device platform using the CLI or SLIP protocol over the RS-232 serial port.
The GUI can be used as is or the user who is familiar with XML can optionally customize the screen layout as desired. The user-created screen layout can be saved in an XML configuration file. The release of this GUI comes with a standard XML configuration file specific to a Teridian energy management device, which can be used without additional effort.
